Text Box: March 26 Praise GOD!!!! “My God’s a great God and worthy to be praised, He made the world so great he keeps us by His grace and soon I’ll see His face, my God’s so great.” These words are from Shelly’s favorite chorus, truly they describe our God!!! Wednesday’s CT scan showed a shrinkage of the lymph nodes in Carl’s neck to a non-concern pathologically!!!! The cancer is gone from his neck!! The first dose of chemo, given last week, has done its job, AND God has begun the work of healing in Carl!!! Text Box: Praise GOD!!!! During this last stay at Roswell the doctors stated that the cancer was gone. It was the first time they used the word gone. As I reflect back on the last several weeks I remember that it was Easter Sunday, March 23, that Pastor Gilbert and the Elders of Genesee Country Church had Carl come forward, Pastor anointed him with oil and called upon our Almighty GOD for healing. The Great Physician heard our plea and healed my son. Just one small dose of chemotherapy had been administered prior to Easter Sunday, but the LORD used it to rid Carl’s body of the cancer. We thank God for this miracle and demonstration of his grace, love and mercy to us. Text Box: The YACFOE (Youth Abundant in Christ Faithful Onto Eternity) youth group from Oakfield sponsored a Spaghetti Dinner and Chinese Auction to benefit Carl and our Family ON MAY 17, 2008. We Would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who contributed their time and resources. The love outpoured at this event was unexpected and overwhelming. Carl asked me: “Why us dad? Why did all these people we don’t even know come to the dinner for us?” After some thought I answered him with this: “God laid it on the hearts of his friends in this youth group to hold this dinner and bless us. His friends obeyed this call and God blessed every action and activity involved.” This evening was an example of I Thessalonians 5 in action!!! — Thank you!! Text Box: Praise GOD!!!! For the many who have demonstrated their love for Carl and our family. As we reviewed the “Thank You” page we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of people in our community that have reached out to us. Not only have you folks prayed, given gifts and sacrificed your time to minster to us, most of you have reached out to us repeatedly. It is impossible for us to express our appreciation in words, we pray that God will bless each and every one of you. “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord” Colossians 3:23-24 KJV
