Update & Immediate Prayer Request Sunday, June 15, 2008

 

Carl is home resting, visiting with friends and accomplishing some schoolwork.  We have to be concerned with his white blood cell counts over the next week then he should be in the clear.  Pray that his counts will recover and pray that he will do well on his Spanish (Tuesday) and Earth Science (Friday) final exams.

21 days apart

We Would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who contributed their time and resources. The love outpoured at this event was unexpected and overwhelming. Carl asked me: “Why us dad? Why did all these people we don’t even know come to the dinner for us?” After some thought I answered him with this: “God laid it on the hearts of his friends in this youth group to hold this dinner and bless us. His friends obeyed this call and God blessed every action and activity involved.” This evening was an example of I Thessalonians 5 in action!!! — Thank you!!
